Toyota takes manufacturer's award on Sugarbelt 400

The Nissan Sugarbelt 400, round three in the ABSA off-road challenge, took place last weekend in KZN. Toyota achieved the following:
- 3 cars of the first 5 in the Production Vehicle category (Cronje/Birkin, Hugo and Jaap de Bruyn, Visser/Badenhorst)
- a class win by Jannie Visser/Joks le Roux,
- manufacturers award win, the 1st one by Toyota this season
As in the previous round, Cronje/Birkin won the Friday prologue to determine start positions but picked experienced a puncture early in the race and then a fuel problem.

The next round is the Toyota 1000 Desert Race in Botswana, 13 - 15 June.
